James Alufa
My name is James Alufa. I am the Chairperson of the Student Council. My class is Year 7 and I am 12 years old. My nationality is Nigerian. My favourite subject is Maths. The Student Council has achieved a lot of things this year like recycling, buying playground equipment, Podcasting- interviewing an expert at recycling- Alan Sterling and Val Bloom a visiting poet. I enjoy working in the Student Council because I share my friends' ideas with the Student Council to improve the school and help it be a better place for everyone.

My name is Michelle Elliott. I am 7 years old. I am part of the student council. We are learning about recycling paper. I am in Year 2.
Nadia Gjerdingen
My name is Nadia Tore Gjerdingen and I am the Year 6 Student Council Representative. I’m from Malaysia and I moved to Qatar two years ago. I am the Secretary in the Council. One of my jobs is to take minutes at each meeting and distribute them to all council members. I have interviewed Val Bloom, a children’s poet who visited our school, and Alan Sterling from the College of the North Atlantic, about recycling. We have also done some assemblies. I have really enjoyed doing all the student council projects and helping Compass grow into a better school.

Holland is in Europe. I like being in the Student Council.
