Compass International School has chosen to offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for university entrance because we believe that it offer the best university preparation programme currently available.
On the following pages you will find information about the IBDP as well as information on university recognition. You can link to the IB website by clicking here.
To offer the IBDP, schools need to seek authorisation and we are undertaking that process currently. In November 2010, we were accepted as an IB Candidate School and we are now following the protocols for acceptance as an IB World School.
Compass International School is a candidate school* for the Diploma Programme. Tjis school is pursuing authorisation as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy - a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Compass International School believes is important to our students.
Only schools authorised by the International Baccalaureate (IB) as IB World Schools can offer any of its three academic programme. Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorisation will be granted
